Woman rescues man and dog from the Chestnut Hill Reservoir
The woman was running by the water on Tuesday when she sprang into action.

A woman running near the Chestnut Hill Reservoir on Tuesday came to the aid of a man and a dog who were in the water.
The man, a dog walker, swam out into the reservoir after one of the pups got loose and chased geese out into the water, NECN reports.
Katie Kellner was running nearby when she saw the man and dog struggling in the water, according to CBS Boston.
“They got about halfway into the res when the man finally caught the dog and as he was swimming back with the dog he started yelling that he was drowning,” she told the station. “At that point, I took off my shoes real quick and swam in to grab him.”
According to CBS Boston, the man was taken to a hospital for evaluation but both he and the dog are expected to be OK.
