I am honored to be running the 2026 Boston Marathon in support of Mass Eye and Ear, an organization that holds deep personal meaning for me. As a teenager, I underwent surgery connected to ongoing sinus and septum issues, and Mass Eye and Ear played a role in my care. That experience left a lasting impression on me—not just because of the medical expertise, but because of the compassion, innovation, and dedication to improving quality of life for patients of all ages.
Today, as a working mom and aspiring endurance athlete, I am constantly reminded of how precious health is. The ability to see clearly, hear fully, breathe easily, and communicate without pain or limitation is something many of us take for granted. Mass Eye and Ear’s mission to advance research, education, and patient care for conditions affecting the senses and head and neck is critical, and I am proud to run in support of that work.
Running the Boston Marathon is a lifelong dream, but being able to pair that goal with raising funds and awareness makes it even more meaningful. Every mile I train and every dollar I raise represents my gratitude for the care I once received and my hope for the patients and families who will rely on Mass Eye and Ear in the future. I am running not just for myself, but for everyone who deserves access to world-class specialty care and the chance at a healthier life.
